West overton village

West Overton Village in Southwest Pennsylvania preserves an 1838 farm; representing the heritage of American culture at the time, it invites people to experience the past. But the museum’s fragmented storytelling and lack of visibility meant that even locals had no idea it existed.

At the heart of our tactile new identity is the brand tapestry, artfully blending the diverse industries and individuals of West Overton. The forms depicted become the building blocks for the broader identity, used flexibly for pattern-making and overlays. Beautifully crafted using traditional woodcarving techniques, it’s the perfect metaphor to illustrate the interwoven past and present.

West Overton Village branding won two 2023 Creative Circle Awards: Best Brand Refresh (Silver) and Best Typography (Bronze).
